Guydeez — Privacy Policy

The Guydeez mobile application ("the app") provides mobile access to the Guydeez website (guydeez.com), where travellers can browse and book private, tailor-made tours with local guides. This policy explains what data the app itself handles.

What the app is

The app is a secure in-app browser that displays the Guydeez website. All features — searching destinations, booking, payment and account management — take place on guydeez.com within the app. The app adds a marketing tag to the web address (a "UTM" parameter) so that Guydeez can measure how many visitors come from the app; this tag contains no personal information about you.

Data the app uses

• No accounts in the app. The app has no separate login. If you sign in or book, this is done on the Guydeez website and is governed by the practices described below.
• Internet connection. The app needs internet access only to load the website.
• Website data. When you use the website through the app, guydeez.com may use cookies and standard analytics, and — if you make a booking — collect the information needed to provide the service (such as your name, contact details and payment information, processed by the payment provider Stripe). This is the same data the website collects in any web browser.

What the app does NOT collect

The app does not access your location, contacts, photos or files, and does not collect data for advertising or sell any data. The app itself stores no personal information on our servers beyond what the website normally does.

Third-party services

• The Guydeez website and its booking, payment and analytics providers (including Stripe for payments) — see the practices published on guydeez.com.
• Google Play services, for app distribution and, if enabled, crash reporting — Google Privacy Policy.

Children

Guydeez is a travel-booking service intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children.
